Morning Reps, Zero Distractions
This morning, I did something new, I hit the gym early. So early, in fact, that I was the second person there. As the shutter door rolled up, I checked in, stepping into an almost empty space.
The atmosphere was serene, inviting, and distraction-free. There’s something refreshing about working out when the gym is quiet. No waiting for machines, no feeling self-conscious, and most importantly, no pressure. Not that I ever try to impress anyone, but let’s be honest shall we, most people in the gym are fitness buffs with sculpted bodies. I, on the other hand, am just starting, still carrying some extra weight here and there. Being alone lets me focus entirely on my progress, without comparison or hesitation.
This experience has me rethinking my routine. Maybe morning workouts are the way to go. It feels more productive, and with an empty stomach, I might even be burning more calories. A win-win.
One session down, many more to go. 💪
