Public holiday means one thing, more time to run! Since today was Thaipusam, My All and I decided to hit the tracks in Kuala Lumpur. The weather? Oh, it was bright, sunny, and just perfect for a good sweat session. Traffic was smooth, so we made it to Taman Tasik Titiwangsa just before 9 AM. A little late by morning run standards, but hey, better late than never!
This time, we switched things up. Instead of the usual loop around the lake, we took the longer route. And guess what? I could actually run non-stop! Now, let’s not talk about pace, but the fact that I kept going without a break? That’s progress! The effort counts, right?
The park was lively with families picnicking, kids cycling, and plenty of other fitness enthusiasts doing their thing. My All followed closely behind as I completed one big loop, a solid 45-minute run. By the end of it, I was drenched, the sun plus sweat equals ultimate post-run glow or just a very wet shirt.
And the best part? The day’s not over yet! Gym session in the afternoon. Let’s see if this week brings more progress. One step at a time!
