Expanding this blog has been on my mind for a while now. Social media ada tempatnya, but I rasa nak ada satu space where I can write lebih bebas, without worrying about the fleeting nature of a feed or the limits of an algorithm. That’s where this blog comes in.
IG is personal, a digital memory bank where I keep moments that matter, but only for a selected circle. FB pulak lain. It’s where I engage in broader topics, tulis longer thoughts, and connect with familiar faces. Almost semua yang ada di sana kenal, so it feels like a safe space to share.
Tapi blog ni? Dia lain.
Di sini, I tak terikat dengan format, trends, or the pressure of engagement. I can document my experiences, macam my recent Langkawi and Perlis trip semalam without rasa nak kena rush atau pendekkan cerita just to fit a curated aesthetic. Benda yang tak sempat nak share kat IG or FB pun boleh masuk sini, sebab sini tak ada feed yang laju berjalan ke bawah, pushing posts into oblivion.
Blog ni tak macam IG yang cepat hilang dalam timeline. Tak macam FB yang kadang-kadang drowned by other posts. Dia tak bergantung pada likes, shares, or the algorithm. Dia just ada untuk siapa yang betul-betul nak baca. Ada tak ada itu lain cerita.
And that’s my hope for this space.
Untuk siapa-siapa yang suka storytelling yang more intentional. Yang appreciate details, moments kecil, and in-between thoughts that don’t always make it to social media.
