Today’s event was one of my favorites, which is attending a wedding with My All. Weddings are always something I look forward to. The atmosphere is filled with love, joy, and the beauty of two people starting their journey together.
From the moment we arrived, I could feel the love in the air. Everything was beautifully set, the decorations, the food, the perfectly matched family outfits. Weddings have a way of bringing people together, not just to celebrate the couple but to reconnect with family and friends.
This time, we headed to the outskirts of Klang Valley. The wedding was on a hill, which, let me tell you, was quite a climb by my standards. Hahaha. Since the parking was already full, we had to take a little hike up. But hey, good exercise before indulging in all the delicious food, right?
And speaking of family, this was My All’s side, so I got to meet my in-laws, nieces, and nephews. It’s always a fun and heartwarming reunion. Family weddings are the perfect excuse to catch up with relatives, share stories, and see how fast the little ones are growing up.
Now, let’s talk about the real star of any wedding…the food. A classic Kenduri Kahwin menu, but with a little extra touch! They had an amazing variety of side dishes, including traditional kuih-muih Melayu and cakes. Let’s just say, for a brief moment, I completely forgot I was on a diet. Hahaha.
But what truly made this wedding stand out? A coffee corner! And not just your typical flask-brewed coffee…no no no, this was the real deal. Freshly ground coffee beans, complete with options for chocolate or matcha. A dream come true for any coffee lover. I even caught My All going back for seconds. Rolls eyes.
All in all, weddings are always such a wonderful gathering space. A time for love, laughter, good food, and great company. Whether it’s celebrating the newlyweds or simply catching up with family and friends, there’s always something special about these events.
Can’t wait for the next one!
